Hello, I'm Darja, and I'm 12 years old. My brother Gleb (10) and I went on a summer camp. Our family - that's my mom Julia, our older sister Sasha and our grandma Olya. My father left us four years ago. My grandma goes to church and that's where she found out about the camp. Mom agreed that my brother Gleb and I should take part. Every day we heard exciting stories from the Bible. I learned that it's bad to sin, and even if I lie or disobey, that's a sin.Gleb and I now go to the children's hour every Sunday. We really like it and we have made lots of new friends. I want so much for my mom and my sister to come to church too. Because God loves us and because Jesus died for our sins. And I want my father to come back to us. I miss him.

Hello, I come from the city of Ussuriysk. When I asked my parents if I could take part in the camp, they were against it because the camp was outside the city, about half an hour's drive away.  Then my grandma came to visit. When I told her about the camp, she said she would take me there! I was so happy and I could hardly wait for the vacation. My grandma took me to the leisure center. So many children, so many games, and every day we learned something about God. There was such delicious food, and all the children received a gift: a book with stories about Jesus, and a badge with the inscription: "Jesus - friend of the children". Imagine that! He is my friend!

Christian Summer Camps - up to the end of the world!

Olya and Darya come from the Primorye region in the Far East of Russia. It is not for nothing that this region is known as the "end of the world". There are over 9,000 km between the city of Vladivostok and Moscow. Despite the huge distances, the Gospel has also reached the Far East of Russia. Today we serve 21 churches and groups with a total of 410 members in the Primorye region. God has given them the vision to win all people and nations of the Far East for Christ. The work with children, especially through summer camps, creates wonderful opportunities for this. The local churches need support in this ministry - not only in the Far East of Russia, but in the entire mission field that God has entrusted to us.

70% of the children come from families who have no connection to evangelical churches or who have never heard of Jesus Christ
